ABOUT

Jake is a calisthenics athlete with a rounded focus on calisthenics skills, weighted calisthenics lifts, and aesthetics development. Jake’s bodyweight training started as a teenager during the early days of his MMA training and competitive career, in which he relied on bodyweight fundamentals like the pull up, push up, and dip to increase striking power and wrestling strength. After retiring from competition, Jake rediscovered calisthenics as the next stage in his fitness journey and has never looked back.

EXPERTISE

Jake is a practicing sports chiropractor who works daily to solve complex muscular and skeletal issues for his patients. When it comes to training, Jake takes his deep knowledge of biomechanics and physiology out of the treatment room and uses it to perfect his calisthenics exercise form and performance to maximise results. Jake is also well studied in training periodisation for strength and muscle growth and carefully refines his own and others programs to produce the best results in the shortest time possible.

What program is right for me?

My programs are separated by level, designed to suit everyone from a complete beginner straight off the couch to an athlete who has been training for years. You can see recommended fitness requirements for each program here.

Do I have to choose between developing muscle, skills, or strength?

All of my available programs will do all three of these things. The best part is, each program offers the ability to customise based on your goals. Whether it’s a focus on growing lean muscle, achieving certain calisthenics skills, or gaining explosive power, you can have any and all of these!

How long will a program last me?

Each program comes with at least 6 months of progressive programming, but as part of the instructional guide included, it teaches you how to continually progress and modify the programs to be used for anywhere from 6 months to 2 years of consistent training!

What if I don’t know how to do one of the exercises in the program?

Each program comes with an included exercise library with detailed images and descriptions of each exercise, categorised by the type of exercise and all with clear names so you can easily check on any exercise that you’re unsure of.

Are these programs for men or women, or for certain ages?

All available programs are suitable for both men and women, and any age from child to senior! Provided you meet the recommended fitness requirements to begin the program, you should have no trouble making great progress.

How much time will I need?

To get the absolute best results out of your program, including doing every exercise, every workout, with optimal rest times, it will take you roughly 4-5 hours per week. However, the programs are structured so that it’s easy to do less or more by shortening rest times, reducing the total number of sets, or even removing entire workout days while still training all muscle groups!

Can I get support during the program?

With each program comes an invite to our private Jake Williams Fitness Community group where you can ask questions to other like-minded members of the calisthenics community and share your progress!
