Description
Get your strength and physique to their highest level by using the best of training strategies – Hybrid Strength Training.
The combination of bodyweight and weights training is simply unbeatable for it’s versatility and efficiency. Get the perfect mix of functional strength and whole-body development with the specificity necessary to optimise and continue progressing muscle growth as an intermediate or advanced trainee.
Tailored to exactly your goals.
Want strong pull ups but don’t really care about achieving the planche? Looking to develop a strong bench press but want to achieve handstand push ups too?
The HYBRID 1.0 Program offers a full body split with perfectly calculated volume and frequency to maximise gains while allowing for necessary recovery – while giving you the option of mixing and matching your bodyweight or weights focus. Each exercise includes one or more alternative options, including a bodyweight and weighted option.
This allows you to keep your focus on the movements you care about most, while allowing you the option of efficient weight or machine based accessories OR minimal equipment-required calisthenics options.
The latest in volume and frequency research – put into practice.
With a busy last few years in resistance training research, the gold standard recommendations for training volume, repetition ranges, and frequency are no longer what they once were. The HYBRID 1.0 Program utilises a full body, high frequency split with training intensity adjusted per set to keep your training as evidence-based as possible to maximise outcomes without wasted work or time.
✔️ Duration: Total of 12 weeks. The Hybrid bodyweight and weights combination with multiple alternative exercise options makes the program easily repeatable and ideal as part of a 2-3 program cycle.
✔️ Required Fitness level: 20+ push ups, 8+ pull ups, 30+ bodyweight squats
✔️ Required Equipment: pull up bar, dip bars, rings, weight belt, and resistance bands. Standard weights (plates, bars, dumbbells) and/or commercial gym machines will allow you the most choice from all exercise options.
